Three Slug Petri-dish

This sculptural piece is designed to be hung on a protected outdoor wall or brightly lit indoor space.
Intrigued by miniature worlds and the symbiosis that exists between different organisms in any ecosystem led me to create a collection of oversized petri-dishes.
My first collection were featured on Gardening Australia after being filmed at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.
This dish measures 670mm in diameter.
It includes three slugs, three shelf fungi, two fungi, a cluster of yellow ladybird eggs and two living tillandsia (air plants).
It is weather proof but I recommend hanging it in a protected place.
